Three radio ads have been produced by Red FM in association with the Village of Men project. These ads are also working to create awareness of the problem of domestic violence, and encourage people to get help.

Men in the Itfak Group are excited about Itfak program and recommended that we should take it to the larger community. Itfak is a specific and specialized Indo-Canadian group counselling program which is around fro the last fifteen years in Abbotsford. Because Itfak is a mandated program we cannot take it to the open community because this program helps men after they are charged. We introduced Village of Men program which is community based program and it has been open to community. Counsellors encouraged the participants to go to the community and volunteer their time for the cause.  They want men to be able to shift attitudes or get help before police intervention happens in their lives. 

Eight peer facilitators have been trained and are ready to have conversations in the community to promote respectful relationships.
